This is a perfect backyard two stall barn that allows horses to be horses. The 245' x 36' structure includes two stalls that open to a covered breezeway which then is open to a dry lot. The dry lot opens to an irrigated pasture. The barn is designed to take advantage of cooling breezes or to let the horses have protection from the cold wind. A 12 x 12 tack room and 12 x 12 groom/storage area complete the barn. Metal siding is used where horses have access to the barn and board and batt siding on the remainder ties in with other buildings on the site. There is extensive use of twin wall polycarbonate to bring in natural light and the slope of the roof would be advantageous for future solar panels.<br /> Linda Royer has been a professional equine designer for twenty eight years and designs equine facilities across the US.
View the amazing art of Kimry Jelen! “Most of my paintings are acrylic or mixed media. I paint with a textured, highly colorful style that flows freely from abstract to representational. My creativity is sparked by my love of nature and animals—horses in particular. In a time when so many of us feel separate from the natural world, my hope is these paintings draw viewers back to our true connectedness with nature, each other, and ourselves. For me, painting is almost like sculpting. I can feel the essence and character of the landscapes and animals. For me, there’s nothing better than hearing that one of my paintings has touched someone’s heart or helped open them up to see an animal’s personality. I live in a small town in the middle of the Oregon High Desert; painting, working with horses, and drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the surroundings and the critters I care for.”

The unwanted horse. The abused horse. The neglected horse. The horse whose loving owner died and didn’t have an after plan. The horse whose owner suffered financial hardship. These are the horses we help.
